Hehe. Nah, I don't think so. I just have a problem with the fact that so many bodypainting artists seem to be influenced by rather kitschy fantasy motives. I've always admired the work of Nelly Recchia though.

Oh, and the camouflage works you posted are really impressive too.

Actually, i really don't recall body painting really being that popular in the 80's.

Yes I was there.

And I like the Art...I wish it was more fashionable for women to present themselves clad only in paint.

Well, not ALL women, of course.

Thank you very much, I was around in the 80s too (even in the 70s).  Confused

I was actually referring to the aesthetics of most of the photos posted above. They remind me of airbrushing and look rather cheapish to me.

I really don't know where you were in the 80s, but body painting as "performance art" was actually huuuuge in the 70/80s.
