Lovely... dance

Quote
This video project was inspired by the famous album cover art of 1979 album, Joy Division's "Unknown Pleasures" designed by Peter Saville. Original video footage is from Joy Division's TV performance of "Shadowplay" on Granada Reports. The video footage was animated with the same topographic style of the album cover design.

I did not watch it because my dying browser has quite some trouble with Quicktime embedded videos these days. I know should upgrade to OS X sometime, but i should sort out my hardware problems first...  microsoft

Hello kids. Apparently, it's the same graphical representation of supernova that was used in on a screen in the landing scene of Alien... or was it Aliens.

This may be horseshit (nebula).

I wish there was more to look at than the band playing. Though, that was different and neat...it's more fun to look at shadowvision and try to figure out what it is. Wonderful stuff though.

The shoe sole is neat too, i wouldn't mind being reminded of Joy Division every time i went for a morning Jog

Everyone who designs white runners and doesn't go by the name of "Adidas" should burn in hell anyway, afaik.   :icrush:

...By jogging...I meant sluggishly walking to the abandoned building next door to stare at pictures of my ex-boyfriend and ponder....

Yeah, that sounds about right.

... and in other Joy Division news:

Critics applaud Joy Division film

Quote
A British film about the life and death of Joy Division singer Ian Curtis, starring a first-time actor, has earned a rapturous reception in Cannes.

Unknown Sam Riley said he was "working in a warehouse in Leeds folding shirts" when he was cast to star in Control.

Debut film director Anton Corbijn said the newcomer had brought "an innocence and freshness that I was hoping for but never thought I would find".

The movie opened the 60th Cannes Film Festival's Director's Fortnight.
