Sweet Jesus!  Shocked

BTW: I adore your improved avatar! It reminds me of Ray Caesar's Merchant[/url] for some obscure reason. They'd be such a lovely couple.

Hmmm... even though you cannot trust the police nor the media reports in the Munch Theft Case anymore, I'm adding an "update" on the arrest situation:

Fourth suspect arrested in 'Scream' heist

Quote
OSLO - Police in Norway have arrested a fourth suspect in last August's bold daylight theft of two paintings by Edvard Munch.

Like the previous three suspects, the man is in his 30s. His name was not released, but authorities did say he was taken into custody at his workplace south of Oslo on Wednesday.

Unknown Munch is found in museum

Quote
Experts in Norway believe a painting found in Germany is a hitherto unknown work by Norwegian master Edvard Munch.

The painting, which has been dubbed The Girl and the Four Male Heads, was found in Bremen and taken to the Munch Museum in Oslo for evaluation.

There officials concluded that it was probably painted between 1898 and 1899.

The painting differs from Munch's style at the time. But a spokesman said it was "a period of Munch's work of which we have very little precise knowledge".

"I think many Munch researchers will be preoccupied by this painting in many different ways in future," said museum official Gerd Wold.

The devil inside

Quote
Those who connect the frozen north with helpless melancholy and long introspective winters, reverberating with images of doom and intense depression, have their poster boys: Strindberg, Ibsen, the film-maker Ingmar Bergman, the novelist Knut Hamsun. But the most miserable northerner of them all, at least among notable artists, was undoubtedly Edvard Munch (1863-1944).
