EDIT: hey, my 69th post! Oh, what a glorious day! And just on that very day in 312, Constantine - fighting under the sign of the cross - won the Battle of Milvin Bridge and so became the first Christian Emperor of Rome. It sure is a sign that you are indeed the chosen one, Michelle... Congratulations, Michelle! What custom rank can I give you?

more importantly, HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!!!!!!! :dracul: The same to you, Michelle! Ahem... I read "never seen by wanking eyes" - I sure have a seriously libido problem! Oh, I need your Renaissance knowledge for the following painting: "The Monk with a Nun" from the Frans Hals Museum - attributed to either Frans Hals himself or Cornelis Cornelisz van Haarlem. I find it a bit too candycoloured for Hals... what do you think?

I would have to agree with you, it doesn't look terribly Hals-like in my wholly unexpert opinion (though in my current state of political shock I'm suprised I can even form coherent sentences )

Oooooooooh, thankyou thankyou thankyou! I want to marry you, Michelle! Do you have any source information to that "Nuns of War" picture? That last one reminded me very much of Felician Rops' "Temptation of Saint Anthony". And now for something completely the same:THE RETURN OF THE EVIL FLYING PENIS FROM HELL! :jump:

sorry, no levitating penises in this one (unless she's hiding them under her habit) Hmmm... maybe the phalli just anthropomorphized into unsuspiciously looking autumn leaves that will be reanimated as soon as the photographer leaves the scene?! And in related news:Man tries to poison nun out of jealousyA Gallup man has confessed to police that he tried to kill a nun with poison two years ago because he wanted more attention from a priest.
Derek Kolb told officers he tried to kill 81-year-old Sister Mary Margret two years ago because he wanted her out of the way. The 19 year old said he felt he was competing with the nun for the attention of Father Tom Maikowski. Read moreNah, nah... that's all wrong, Mr Kolb! If you really want to get his attention, buy him a prostitute! Yaaay! Oooh, how I adore those boobs!
