Nice,
try using gesso, or some primer, at least acrylic.
It will be much more  "crispy" , and look professional.
Have fun.

Uhhhhh...hahaha, this is so embarrassing. The problem is I was painting on masonite(the paint just sits...there) and I was terrible(perhaps still am).

I had a rabbit at the time and he passed away.
