MUFF - The 5th Melbourne Underground Film Festival

The Melbourne Underground Film Festival [MUFF] is an independent and non-profit organisation that showcases a diversity of film and video based works in the areas of underground, independent, guerrilla and exploitation. MUFF presents both new features and shorts, as well as presenting an innovative selection of curated programs and retrospectives.

MUFF will be running from Thursday 8 th July to Sunday 18 th July 2004 , in Melbourne, Australia.

MUFF UPDATE - 12th July 2004

STOP THE PRESS - MUFF films banned!!!!

The following films have been banned from MUFF by the O.F.L.C:

- The Toolbox Murders
- Wife to be Sacrificed
- Za Ginipiggu 1 & 2

They will be replaced by the following programs:

Saturday July 17, 3pm @ George - “Quiet Days in Clichy”

the Henry Miller adaptation that was un-banned in the US and opened the floodgates for the porn industry and modern erotic cinema. Intro by Bill Lustig.

 
Saturday July 17,  7pm @ Gertrudues – “The Black Glove” and “The Elegant Spanking”
 
second screening due to demand and technical difficulties last weekend.

 
Saturday July 17, 9pm @ Gertrudes – That Paris Hilton video!!!

Yes folks Melbourne loves Paris and Paris loves sex…and why the hell shouldn’t she. This generation’s lost and damned angel and ‘it’ girl shows us how its done. See for yourself at this naughty underground screening…be early, don’t miss out.
