The Nest, Chris Conn Askew

There is now a swoon-worthy treasure trove of visual deliciousness online at:
http://www.sekretcity.com

You must look now...and tell everyone.
Yes, it's that good.

Visually I second that --- audiowise I'd like to add that webpages with sound and no option to turn it off are the roots of all evil.

have to agree with lotekk on both points ... and add that it's fantastically lovely graphic work. Stories so bittersweet, they make me feel like joining the red army as a nurse, and just sit there in a muddy trench surrounded by imaginary friends, smoking and thinking of the good old days...

You're of course all absolutely right - Chris Conn is an insane genius who should have gotten a thread here a long, long time ago. Thank you, Jessica, for resolving this! hug

I, for one, will definitely devote a part of my body to him once I get some money together to get my long planned Vania Zouravliov chest piece done. Yep.

Yes indeed...that is soooo perfect!!!

Suzanne:
But of course my dear! His work does seem to fit in beautifully here in Wurzeltodistan. *wink*

I've gotta disagree on the "root of evil"...then again, I always have my computer muted because my stereo's always on...

I love his work. I definitely have to acquire one of his paintings. Well, when I'll have enough money... Sad
