Cerulea Monmorte, acrylic on paper, 2003

The lovely Renee from LemurGurlArt updated her eBay and artwork section.

The bidding for the eBay painting - a lovely portrait of a 15th century vampire lady - has just started.

Please note that Renee will be showing some art in October in Seattle. More details will follow asap.

Update from Renee, 15th July 2004:

Quote
Hi everyone! Just a quick note to let you know that I've done some updating on my website and have added a few new paintings to look at in my newly designed gallery. I also have a new set of Lemurgurl Art pinback buttons for sale! There's 8 in the set, and they cost 8.00 per set, which includes shipping anywhere in the world! I still have some work to do on the site, but it's getting there. Go check it out, if you feel so inclined! Smile

Renee

FYI: I'm not getting paid for writing this! Wink

Tonight, when I returned to Basel, there was a most beautifully decorated parcel from Renee waiting on my doorstep for me.

It was the 2nd time I ordered accessoires from Renee (pins and a purse) and both times I was stunned by the love and creativity she puts into her parcels. It almost feels like getting a personal birthday present.

So if you like cute pins, unique purses, art cards... well, basically sweet 'n' sp00ky things full of delicate details, you should subscribe to Renee's announcement list (bottom of page) to stay informed about her work.

So... many thanks for your lovely surprise, Renee.

It's indeed utterly heartbreaking! Lori Fury designed it for Renee - you might like her dolls... Wink

Yes, yes... I've been there recently. What a coincidence! I stumbled upon that link while I was reading the most enchanting journal of a mysterious girl named "Robotic Tentacle"... weirder and weirder... Wink

Nah, nah.. you did announce it loud and clearly in your blog, mademoiselle!

I'd say you should keep that brain and feed it with loads of grotesque Victorian paranormalia and Japanese curiosities to fight the ennui of our decaying times...  Rolling Eyes
